Jackson James grew up by the beach in the picturesque coastal town of Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of NSW. With a history of country music in his family,  he picked up the guitar at a young age and always knew he wanted to combine his two loves of the coast and the country.

Jackson’s first offering as an original artist is a perfect blend of the two. With influences from Jack Johnson to Old Dominion, Pete Murray to Jordan Davis, Jackson is set to create a lane of his own with his unique stamp on the country genre.

Jackson’s background is in videography and photography, but when he’s not behind the lens capturing music videos and creating artwork for other artists, he’s on stage as a session guitarist and has played his own sets at festivals like Tamworth Country Music Festival, Wildwood, Wingham Acoustic Festival and Ride The Wave Festival.

It’s time for Jackson to step out from behind the lens and into focus, as this is just the beginning for Jackson James the artist.
